An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Histology team at Viapath Bedford. We require a full-time Medical Audio Typist to undertake duties for the Histology Laboratory, part of the Cellular Pathology Department based at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust.

The Histology laboratory process' over 16,000 cases each year. Working as part of a team of secretaries and administrative staff, you will provide medical audio typing and administrative support to the Cellular Pathology Department.

The department offers a modern well-equipped laboratory and office working environment.

Relevant experience is desirable as is an applicant who can demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, together with an ability to prioritise their workload and work well under pressure, using their own initiative.

Interviews will be held November 8, 2018.
