An opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic forward thinking multi- professional team and be part of a group of highly skilled fertility nurses. The post holder is expected to have previous experience in working in women’s health, gynaecology or fertility nursing/assisted conception, with the ability to scan or working towards achieving scanning competencies. Being part of this dynamic innovative team means that you will be able to embrace and lead change within this progressive unit. You will have an opportunity to develop new skills in fertility nursing and work alongside leading fertility experts and contribute to fertility and reproductive health.

The Assisted Conception Unit at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest and most successful NHS units in London. The unit is based in state-of-the-art purpose fairly new facilities. The ACU has the largest most successful pre-implantation genetic diagnosis programme in the UK, and is one of the first units to be licensed for stem cell research in the UK.

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
