Guys and St Thomas Foundation Trust – Community Health Service - School Nursing. 

There is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Nurse to join an already established School Nurse service skill mixed team. 

The post holder will have a clinical leadership, operational, management and a clinical component to the role. The clinical aspect is expected to be about 40%. 

The post holder will provide effective leadership to the School Nurse team across the team bases in Southwark. You will lead the team in ensuring that children and young people and their families in the community have access to appropriate information on how to access universal services provided. You will be responsible for the management of caseloads ensuring the provision of high standards of nursing care to the school age population and their families. 

The post holder would also be expected to work with the School Nursing team to meet all the service performance targets. There will also be development opportunities for the role.
