An exciting opportunity has opened for permanent full time band 6 Staff Nurses on the Coronary Care unit (CCU).

The CCU team is a dynamic workforce, who are keen to help support and develop nurses interested in experiencing this exciting and changeable environment.

The CCU is currently a 6 bedded invasive cardiology unit, which offers a twenty four hour primary angioplasty service and level 2 cardiology care.

We care for patients with Acute Coronary Syndromes, intra aortic balloon pumps, inotropes, CPAP, temporary pacing, valvuloplasty's, TAVI's and other invasive monitoring.

Applicants must hold the mentorship or equivalent course, have a relevant cardiac module and hold a current ILS / ALS. This post will involve internal rotation to night shifts.

The interview will involve ECG interpretation.
