Are you a technician with an interest in medical servicing and would like the opportunity to work in our Lane Fox Unit - which is the foremost centre in the country in the field of long-term respiratory care?

As a technologist for this service, you will support the 14 bedded unit at St. Thomas’s, 20 bedded satellite unit at East Surry Hospital, 1200 patients in the community spread throughout the United Kingdom and a growing paediatric ventilation service.

Main duties will involve maintaining all medical equipment within this increasingly “high tech.” area, including testing, servicing and calibration of equipment, both in the field and in the workshop. Service support is provided 24 hours.

The successful candidate with have a degree in electronics or equivalent or have experience in the medical servicing field. At Guy’s and St Thomas’ your development is important to us, therefore all necessary training on specific aspects will be provided to you.
