An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and proactive individual to become part of the renowned and innovative multi-disciplinary Critical Care Team at one of the UK's leading teaching Hospitals in the heart of London as a High Dependency Ward Manager of the Cardiovascular High Dependency Unit.

It’s a busy 10 bedded Unit at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. This unit cares for patients with both cardiac and vascular illness and the dynamic nature of our work makes it a very stimulating and exciting place to work. High Dependency Ward Manager – Band 7

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to provide senior clinical and operational support to the team with a strong focus on driving high standards and to lead the clinical team on this busy unit. Providing leadership and professional development to the deputy Sisters/Charge Nurses, you should have experience in bed management, a strong clinical background and experience in managing established teams.

Essential and or desired skills and experience for this Band 7 post in the Cardiovascular/Surgical High Dependency: -

• Extensive clinical leadership/team management experience
• Intensive Care or High Dependency Qualification
• Mentorship Qualification
• Proven significant experience in an adult/ cardiothoracic ICU/HDU unit
