The DT&i Portfolio Management Office (PMO) team is a central and integral part of the DT&i Directorate with responsibilities for portfolio and financial management as well as project support.

The Analyst & Planner role requires strong business and financial management skills coupled with strong P3RM, Change Management and Strategy / Business Planning skills to ensure the DT&i Strategy is translated into a portfolio of programmes and projects, supporting clinical, non-clinical and wider Trust initiatives. Producing a roadmap reflecting the DT&i Strategy and ensure that the Portfolio benefits are identified, baselined and tracked against progress.

 The post holder will work within the team in co-ordinating and executing the activities and objectives of the Portfolio Management Office, assisting with the definition and deployment of project delivery methodology and program management practices, helping to ensure consistent compliance with usage standards and acting as the communications link between IT / business projects and senior / board level management. The post holder will also provide assistance direct to the Project Managers in terms of day to day delivery management.

The post holder, along with a small team, will be the guardian of the DT&i portfolio management processes, particularly the project planning aspect and will interface with all areas of the business to ensure an effective PMO is in operation within the department.
