You must be fully registered with the GDC and be on the DMFR Specialist List, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

This is a new Full Time Consultant post (10PAs) arising to meet service demands in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology which will be based at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a first class, active and progressive dental radiology team in a highly respected Trust.

The post holder(s) will be expected to help lead and develop the dental and maxillofacial radiology services at Guy’s Hospital and to support the delivery of the Trust’s digital agenda including digital imaging.  He/She will be expected to have a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology including an up to date knowledge of the newer 3 dimensional scanning systems including Cone Beam CT and the application of digital imaging and digital information systems in modern healthcare.
