An exciting opportunity has arisen for  part time (0.5WTE) gastrointestinal clinical nurse specialist to work within upper Gastrointestinal services and support the GI team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated  senior nurse to join our team. The successful applicant must demonstrate commitment, excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills and be suited to the dynamic pace of this very active service. It is essential to have a genuine interest and advanced knowledge of upper GI and GI oncology treatments, pathways and survivorship.

The post holder will be expected to work within an established Gi CNS team. Working together to manage a cohort of patients within our service , supporting patients and their relatives through their cancer journey. There will be a responsibility that the post holder will develop their knowledge both clinically and theoretically and use their skills to teach junior members of the team. The successful applicant will be supported in their personal development and will work closely with both clinicians and nurses to strive to deliver excellent care.
