BACKGROUND:

We are among the UK's busiest and most successful foundation trusts. We provide a full range of local hospital and community services for people in Lambeth and Southwark, as well as specialist care for patients from further afield, including cancer, renal and cardiothoracic services. We are an integrated acute and community Trust with nearly 2 million patient contacts a year, an annual budget in excess of £1bn and over 13,000 staff.

The efficient and innovative use of information to drive improvement is at the centre of what the Health Informatics service aims to deliver. A significant investment programme has delivered a modern state of the art Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) platform within Health Informatics to create the heart of the Trust's Enterprise Data Warehouse.

We are now expanding the current Informatics team with a number of new roles to both support and develop the BI platform further. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to be involved in an immensely valuable programme of work, using state of the art tools, to make a difference both to the efficient functioning of the Trust and to patient care.

We are looking for bright and highly motivated individuals who want to use their knowledge and experience to make data and information work for people in a complex and fast moving healthcare environment.
