About us:

The Health Innovation Network is one of 15 academic health science networks (AHSNs) which exist to spread innovation at pace and scale across the healthcare system.  AHSNs spread innovation, improve health and generate economic growth by connecting academics, the NHS, social care and industry.  We do so by creating partnerships, enabling collaboration and responding to the needs of patients and populations.

  • Supporting the NHS to deliver a step-change in the way it identifies, adopts and spreads best practice, clinical innovations and new technologies more quickly and at scale in order to meet the enormous challenges set out in the Five Year Forward View
  • Enabling innovative companies to grow and create jobs, especially in the life sciences sector, depends on helping the NHS and the life sciences industry to engage more productively with each other, focused on defined local needs and backed up by a credible evidence base.

This role is based at our HQ which is located in the vibrant Borough Market, next to the Golden Hinde, close to London Bridge tube station and would involve contact with any of our member sites across the twelve boroughs of South London, as well as across London as we work very collaboratively with partners, so the post-holder will need to be happy to work in a mobile capacity.
