NHS London Procurement Partnership

NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP) is an NHS governed membership organisation which provides professional procurement support to its NHS members. Our members are all of London’s NHS organisations (including acute trusts, community and mental health trusts, and CCGs) - and a number of organisations beyond London. Other public sector bodies can access much of our work. Our primary task is to secure significant savings for members through our collaborative activities. In addition we provide added-value services for members including benchmarking, analytics, eSourcing and project support. Since our formation in 2006, our members have saved more than £1bn for the NHS through the use of our services.

Join us and use your skills to develop a new talent pipeline for NHS procurement in London!

If developing a talent pipeline is your passion, come and join us – we have a new, London-wide programme which is yours to shape.

At NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP) we provide professional procurement support to our members – NHS organisations and other public sector bodies. Our primary task is to secure significant savings for members through our collaborative activities.

But it isn’t all about saving money - we also provide added-value services to our members. Our latest task is hugely exciting. It has the full backing of all LPP members and is a dream for someone who wants to create a lasting legacy for the NHS.

NHS procurement is undergoing significant change –we need to find and retain the top talent of today and tomorrow to ensure that the NHS gets best value from its budget, in the interests of the patient, the NHS as a whole, and the taxpayer.

We want you to design, implement and manage brand new apprenticeship and graduate trainee programmes for our members which will find, recruit, develop and retain the best talent available. In addition, you will deliver a programme of continuous improvement for LPP staff and members.

Join us and enable LPP to adopt leading talent processes and practices, so that our members can be secure in the knowledge that NHS procurement expertise will continue to grow into the future.

Please note: NHS London Procurement Partnership is hosted by but is independent of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 15 and 18 January 2018.

Applicant requirements

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
