Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Deputy Information Governance Manager, in an organisation employing 15,000 staff, with over two million patient contacts per year.

Please note the post holder will be required to work at both Guy's & St. Thomas' as well as Royal Brompton & Harefield sites. This is a requirement of the role.

You would have responsibility for data subject rights, Freedom of Information, and the Registration Authority, as well as leading on wider information governance initiatives such as training, records management, and assurance systems. Working both within the Trust and externally with customers of our managed information governance services, you will need to lead and manage your team to deliver a high quality service across all areas.

The environment is fast-paced, often working on innovative projects at the leading edge of the NHS, and you must be able to prioritise risks and provide pragmatic solutions for information assurance. Working with clinical and management colleagues, you need strong communication and influencing skills to provide advice and direction on information governance in real, often challenging operational scenarios.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and resourceful candidate, with the initiative to recognise and act on problems and opportunities, and the drive to influence a large, complex organisation.
