The Medical Education Department sits under the Medical Director’s Office and is responsible for all postgraduate doctors who join Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking to recruit a Project Support Officer to support the Guardian of Safe Working.

This role will ensure that national guidelines are met in respect of junior doctors hours and working patterns and will include recording of exception reporting to provide robust data and designing/ implementing systems for tracking changes to work schedules in line with the exception reporting process.  The role will involve liaising with various roles at all levels with strong attention to confidentiality and detail.

This post will work closely with the Guardian of Safe Working, the Medical Education Senior Management Team, the Medical HR Team, will be required to manage their personal workload and will be able to work autonomously as required.
