How would you like to work as a Band 6 Nurse in one of the largest Critical Care departments in the UK? We are currently recruiting experienced & motivated Nurses to work in Cardiothoracic / Surgical Intensive Care who are looking for an innovative, challenging and inspirational career experience.

Our 12 Cardiothoracic/ Surgical Intensive Recovery beds offer excellent opportunities to gain a broad range of experience in cardiothoracic nursing and dealing with post-surgical emergency patients. You will gain experience in dealing with fast paced weaning ventilation, inotropes, cardiac output studies, Intra-Aortic balloon pumps, open chest etc. Your experience in caring for the critically ill patients will include but will not be limited to the following:

- Building on your existing knowledge and skills
- Caring for Level 3 critically ill patients.
- Management and Leadership
- Secondments and rotational posts within Critical Care Services

As a Senior Staff Nurse in our unit our promise to you will be:

All applicants must demonstrate significant clinical experience within Adult/ Cardiothoracic ICU, an Intensive Care Qualification, a recognised mentorship qualification and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
