We are looking for motivated, forward thinking and enthusiastic candidates with a “can do attitude” to join our fantastic Advanced Respiratory Nursing Team.

The Lane Fox Respiratory Unit

The Lane Fox Advanced Respiratory Unit is the largest Weaning and Home mechanical ventilation Centre in the UK. We provide management and long term follow up of patient with chronic respiratory disease such as COPD and Neuro-muscular diseases. The Lane Fox Respiratory Unit also offers specialist nurse lead clinics, an outreach service and home assessment clinics for assessing and advising patients with chronic respiratory illness
.
This unique 14 bedded purpose built unit delivers highly quality specialised respiratory care to complex level 2 and level 3 patient including:
• Tracheostomy management and mechanical ventilation
• Weaning from invasive mechanical ventilation
• Non-invasive ventilation (Acute and Chronic)
• High Flow oxygen Therapy


If you share our vision to help patient with respiratory failure to live independently as possible this will be the job for you!! We would like you to join our staff Nurse (Band 5) team if you have the following qualifications:
• Acute  post qualification experience
• Current NMC Registration RN1 (Adult)
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills in caring for complex respiratory patients.


You will receive a personalised induction programme with supervision and support from our dedicated practice development and senior nursing team. This will provide you with the foundation to our exciting Introduction to Critical Care Nursing course, which offers practical and academic support to help you to advance your knowledge and skills in caring for highly dependent complex patients with respiratory illness.
