Evelina London Children’s Hospital cares for children and young people from across South London and South East England.

We offer a unique range of services from antenatal diagnosis through to childhood, into adolescence and on into adult life. Children’s services at Evelina London are mainly located in our state-of-the-art building at St Thomas’ Hospital, but we also provide care to young patients in the community in Lambeth and Southwark.

We are the only hospital in London to have highly specialised women’s and children’s services on one site. This means that our youngest patients can get the specialist care they need on the same hospital site as their mothers.

Our ambulatory services  consist of day care and outpatient departments.  Our day care unit currently being expanded from 6 to 19 beds undertake care of both medical and surgical patients with conditions requiring regular infusions and transfusions. our surgical cohort consists of eye surgery. MRI's, CT and PET scan and a varity of other day surgical procedures.

Our outpatient department  provides care for children requiring  a variety of specialist services throughout South East England as well as our local population. A number of our clinics has their own space located in the main St Thomas hospital.  These are ENT, neuro, renal and our community clinic which is located in Elephant and Castle.

Due to promotion and expansion we are looking for experienced & motivated registered children’s nurses who share our trust values, are enthusiastic, professional, caring, and compassionate with proven clinical competence to join our ambulatory outpatients and day care teams. Recent experience of working in children’s acute services and mentorship is essential; venepuncture and cannulation skills are desirable but can be achieved in this role.
