The Oncology Pharmacy team is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Senior Technician to work alongside pharmacy colleagues and the wider multi-disciplinary team within the newly opened Cancer Centres at Guy's and St Thomas' and QMS Sidcup.

These new rotational posts have been created to develop medicines optimisation for patients attending the Out Patient Village of the Cancer Centre.

Key aspects of the job are:
1. Completing medicines reconciliation for patients on oral chemotherapy attending out-patient appointments
2. Work closely with the out-patient pharmacy provider to facilitate the provision of out-patient prescriptions in the Cancer Centre
3. Support the Senior Pharmacists with the management of Patient Access Schemes
4.Work closely and liaise with the Senior Technicians in the Chemotherapy Preparation and Dispensing Unit in the Cancer Centre5.Working on a rotational basis to provide a high level of care to all sites 

As part of the position time will be split evenly across sites between post holders.
