The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician will support the Computer Aided Design Manager and be responsible for providing professional 2D & 3D computer aided design services using AutoCAD and Revit software to colleagues across the Trust. This will include the production of record and proposal drawings together with the supply of data in both textual and graphical format.


The Team are responsible for administrating, maintaining and developing the Micad Internet Property Register which provides access to drawings and data including all site plans, floor plans, record drawings, legal data, departmental space occupation, room use, building condition surveys, the Asbestos register, space utilisation surveys and more.


The role will also support the development of strategic business cases by supporting a range of cross-team technical services including capital planning staff, professional design teams, quantity surveyors, engineering services, fire safety and relocations teams.
