The successful post-holder will work within the Lane Fox Respiratory Service and work with the consultants, nursing and therapies team and contribute to the day-to-day running of the Lane Fox Respiratory Centre.  This is an exciting and challenging post and will provide the post-holder unrivalled clinical experience and significant opportunities for portfolio development, including audit and research.  The role occupies a central position in the Trusts high class delivery of care and carries significant responsibility and it would suit a clinician who is undertaking post graduate examinations.  During the week, the hours are 9-6pm working 1 in 4 weekends 1 in 4 with no extra on calls.

The post is for 6 months. The successful post-holder will provide direct clinical care to patients in the Lane Fox REMEO Respiratory Centre.  In this post, you will work closely with the Lane Fox consultants and senior nursing team and you will be expected to deliver the weaning plans in collaboration with the MDT.  The post is EWTD compliant and regular monitoring is mandatory. Annual leave and study leave will be coordinated.  The post holder will be expected to work within the established clinical research setup to develop and deliver a research project of their choice with the support of the academic team.
