Join us and become part of the most engaged workforce of any NHS trust in England, according to the latest national NHS Staff Survey results – for the second year running.

You will be joining a dynamic and forward-looking organisation in the heart of the capital where you can develop your career and broaden your horizons.

We think you will enjoy working for us but you don’t have to take our word for it – 79% of staff who took part in the latest national NHS Staff Survey would recommend Guy’s and St Thomas’ as a place to work.

If you are passionate about making a difference to children and families lives across our diverse boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark come and join our award winning school nursing team. We are looking to recruit a forward thinking school nurse to join our innovative team to make a difference to young people and our school nursing service. As part of the Evelina London you would have invaluable links to the acute sector which supports evidence based practice and career progression.

You will be an autonomous practitioner with responsibility for a caseload whilst working alongside a dedicated team. As part of this, you would be part of the leadership team contributing to innovation and shaping the school nursing service. We are proud of our delivery of the school nursing service which includes: managing a safeguarding caseload, providing health promotion and supporting schools to manage the health needs of their students as well as line management of staff.

We are one of a few London trusts to use chathealth and parent line which is a text messaging service that engages young people and parents in supporting their health needs.

We are rolling out mobile working across our community trust giving us more time and flexibility to work in schools and improving our staffs work life balance.

In return we can offer you a robust preceptorship programme, supportive line management and a team that are enthusiastic about young people's health as well as the unique benefits offered whilst working for Guys and St Thomas' Trust.

For you to understand what our trust can offer you, we would welcome you to have an informal conversation with either Kate Alderson, Kathryn Dean or Cecilia Olunuga.
