Nurse required for Tunbridge Wells Satellite Dialysis Unit

Guy’s & St Thomas' NHS foundation Trust is a major teaching hospital & one of the largest Renal & Urology services in SE England. We are a tertiary referral centre hosting an extensive Kidney Replacement Programme. We are one of the leading centres in the UK for highly sensitised and ABO incompatible transplants and an expanding Living Donor programme. We have an established Community Dialysis programme including CAPD, haemodialysis and a nocturnal home haemodialysis programme

Our Dialysis units treat a large number of patients who receive regular haemodialysis for kidney disease. The unit is able to offer both inpatient and outpatient dialysis, with Satellite Dialysis Units at Camberwell, New Cross and Kidney Treatment Centres in Tunbridge Wells & Borough, Long Lane , which not only provides dialysis but also a comprehensive range of outpatient services. We believe in working in partnership with our patients and have successfully implemented a self care haemodialysis programme within our units. This programme enables our patients to take responsibility for their own dialysis, secure in the knowledge that expert help is available if required.

We would like to hear from you if you are interested in a career in haemodialysis, we offer comprehensive training in a supportive environment and welcome applicants who have general nursing experience. excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well within a dynamic team.
